Color dark salmon.Mild smell of red berries and some herbs. In the mouth surprisingly full, red fruit, drain and currant. Beautiful medium intensity fruit acids and good balance. Short finish, fruity pickles and some minerality. Observation: Although this wine is rose in color, it likes the temperature of red wines, don’t chill it 🙂
Whate else? Ivica continues to experiment with his unusual wines. This wine is made from an old indigenous variety grape from Fruska Gora, Slankamenka, (I think this is the only commercial variant). The special and rather exotic old-fashioned taste and excellent balance cause the wine to be drunk at all seasons. It was one of the 2019 wine hits. We look forward to the next harvest.
