Color dark red . In nose wild berries, dogwood, dark cherry some herbs and Serbian oak. Body is full. In the palate surprisingly velvety and without acid. On the mouth very much fruit extract, tasty , good tannin , and noticeable oak. In background discreet earthy- herbaceous (green paper, minerals) aroma of Prokupac All well balanced and rounded.
Middle finish with a little crunchy, fruity acid, a little bit of tannin and oak. Very energetic wine.
Vintage 2013 was fruitier and with less oak (which is commendable), with a slightly thinner body than vintage, 2012 but also rounded., with fruity-mineral-spicy and well balanced.
What else? This wine (2012) was a top hit two years ago, one of the best new representatives of the (so-called) “soft style” of Prokupac wine.
This is an example of how it can make a full and harmonious high-quality wine from Prokupac grape, and at the same time retain all the spicy characteristics and mineral taste of the variety.
Also, I had a chance to drink it recently (May 2016), it’s amazing how Prokupac wine can be good when is in its full strength and maturity.
The export of this wine to Germany and Switzerland started last year. (purple label, left)

Full bodied mix of famous Turkish actors, dominated Cem Yilmaz (charming as Prokupac, powerful as Cabernet Souvignon). Real detective story , Adana town, and passionate inspector Idris who sings with colleagues. Warm, interesting movie with earthy- herbaceous aroma. 🙂
