Color bright golden yellow. Smell of citrus and tropical fruit. The body is medium. In the mouth a little minerality, herbals and pleasant bitterness. Alcohol perfectly integrated Acid imperceptible. Beautiful strong medium mineral finish, very fresh.
What else? A very pleasant surprise this spring. New wine, new style, which is quite uncommon here. The local wine scene loves heavy Chardonnay wines ( creamy body, strong acids…) and this is something completely different. Wine connoisseurs here have told me that it was “new French style”, something that is yet to come. Whatever it was, we were very like it :). Also , we hope that “Vinis” will continue in the same style.
Vinis Chardonnay 2015 . Well, stronger than the predecessor, and in relation to it, more herbal than mineral. Also more aromatic.Still excellent balance of acid and alcohol, still different from domestic production. Very good wine.
