Color dark burgundy red. The smell of blackberry and cherry. The body of medium to thin. In the mouth, velvet, cherry and raspberry and a little bit of spice.Tannin are mild. Nice fruit acid very smooth Medium length finish, fruit,spice. and little wood. Very drinkable wine.
Well, love at first sip. again.:) . And again, rookie winemaker and big nice surprise with the first harvest. Good wine experts here say that it looks like the “Spaniard”, some noble Tempranillo. In my approach spices and mild velvet body resemble to Petite Verdot. In fact, “ordinary” Prokupac from central Serbia, excellent balanced and incredibly drinkable.
Winery made only 1000 bottles of this wine because they suspected that “soft” style wines like this have not many supporters here. We hope that the attention that this wine has caused make a lot of increase of production in next vintage.
“Stranputica” hardly translatable, maybe “wrong way” is the best
