Aglaja_Cabernet_2013Color dark red, almost black. Nose: blackberries and a little blueberry jam .
Body is medium to full, In the mouth full of black forest fruit and blueberry jam again . Medium tannin , nice mild acid. Alcohol is notable (15 %) , warms , but all in one balance is very good. Medium fruity a surprisingly mild finish. Open. 60 min beforeĀ  drink.

What else ? Typical Cabernet Sauvignon from Negotin area in all its glory.
Clever winemaker restrained his power (softened it by little Merlot) but a flavor stayed strong and beautiful. Very smooth and aromatic. And strong, although at first glance does not seem.

Sister Pelagia and red rooster - Boris AkuninSister Pelagia and red rooster – Boris Akunin

Maybe too serious book for such a beautiful and cheerful wine, but book is good and owner of the winery loves Dostoyevsky :).
***Boris Akunin (saturated with his famous hero Fandorin ) wrote a trilogy of criminal stories about of unusual detective, nun sister Pelagia, where he imitates style of the classical Russian writers. This is the last and best book of the trilogy. ***
