Vintage 2011: Color deep ruby red, smell of plums and blackberries. Medium body. Velvety structure. In the mouth fruit, mild spices and something mineral in background. Nicely rounded tannin, excellent incorporated oak. Excellent balance. Long finish, plum jam, a little expensive wood, blackberries, coffee.
Vintage 2013: Color dark red with purple shade. The smell is strong, plum and cherry and a little wood. The body a full to medium. In the mouth very complex, fruit, spices, a nice tree, some smoke. Alcohol strong, but nicely integrated, and also an excellent acid balance. Tannins noticeable, very good. The long and well-balanced fruity-spicy finish, acids do not feel. Open 60 min. before drink. Compared to the older brother more fruit and stronger body.
Vintage 2015: We recently tried the successor. Still young, less spices than the previous but very nice and promising. His time will be the next winter.
What else? For years standard for this type of wine (varietal Merlot are quite rare in the Central Serbia). Also a good example of how the oak and red wine can live together without domination. :)
