Color dark red, almost black, with pink-colored rim. The smell of cherry jam and a little oak. Medium body, in the mouth sour sweet, cherry and blackberry.
Mild tannins, good balanced. A long finish, with a lot of pleasant fruit acids, real Prokupac wine.Serve colder, 12-15 degrees.
Kosta Botunjac does not make Prokupac wine every year, only when heĀ tstimates that the quality of this grape is very good. This is as I know the third edition of this wine (2012,2015,2017). 2012 was a strong earthy wine, 2015 mild and elegant, and this 2017 is a strong fruity variety with a lot of freshness. We are waiting for the next issue, maybe this year.
