Summary:

McCulloch Wines -MM2012Purple color, dark red glow around the edging. The smell is strong, blackberry, black cherry and plum. The body is full. On the palate, raspberry, black currant, cherry. and chocolate in the background, Full of taste almost sweet. Tannin medium – strong. Good balanced alcohol and mild fruit acid. Long fruit ending, full and juicy. Nice.

What else? This wine is labeled “bio-dynamic” also is licensed as “organic product”. Our second meeting with Malbec, it is here quite a bit.
We delighted. This vintage is sold out, eagerly waiting for the next. If winemaker repeats success, this will be one of our favorite wines (even the price is slightly higher.).

This is an excellent book which I read over and over again when I want to relax and enjoy .
So the first similarity is an excellent book – excellent wine, especially because I hope that to be consumed again and again the same as this book.
The second similarity I found in the charming written biography of the owner of the winery, I guess that he had the opportunity to meet a great wine- lover Mr. George Smiley and to have a word with him about Merlot – Malbec  mix . 🙂
