The tavern “Tiha noc” (Silent night) has an interesting history, first owner rented the old workers’ barracks that it sells pork and sheep roast to the workers from nearby factories and large city hospitals. This place quickly became a cult place in the entire city for lovers of local food from Serbia.
The tavern was long time ago changed the location,(and added “new” before the name) it is now in a beautiful house on the hillside Zvezdara which stretches over the one part of the Belgrade, but the menu is almost the same.
Prices of food are very friendly, and selection of wines and more than good, you will find some exotic labels from Negotin and central Serbia, and Vojvodina also.
