Nova Tiha noc restaurant

The tavern “Tiha noc” (Silent night) has an interesting history; the first owner rented the old workers’ barracks where they sold pork and sheep roast to the workers from nearby factories and large city hospitals. This place quickly became a cult place in the entire city for lovers of local food from Serbia.

The tavern changed location long ago (and added “new” before the name). It is now in a beautiful house on the hillside Zvezdara which stretches over one part of the Belgrade, but the menu is almost the same.

Prices of food are very friendly, and the selection of wines is more than good. You will find some exotic labels from Negotin, central Serbia, and Vojvodina.
