Wine grape varieties in Serbia

In general, the wine grape variety that exists in the Republic of Serbia can be divided into four groups :
(Note : we’re only talking about varieties whose wine can be found in offered in the market , not about home wine production.)

1) Domestic, autochthonous grape variety
Black : Prokupac, Zacinak,
White : Smederevka, Tamjanika bela, Muskat Krokan, Kreaca

2) Local grape variety created by crossbreeding (hybrids)
Black : Probus
Whiite : Sila, Petra, Morava, Neoplanta, Panonia, Zupljanka,Kosmopolita

3 ) Regional, Balkan or Pannonian wine grape variety
Black : Vranac, Slankamenka (Plovdina), Kadarka, Portugizer, Frankovka (Blau Fraenkisch),Tamjanika Crna (Muctat rosa)
Whiite : Furmint, Grasevina (Reisling Italico )

4 ) International wine grape variety
Black : Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot , Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Malbech, Marselan, Shiraz, Petit Verdot, Muscat Hamburg**,
Whiite : Sauvignon blanc, Semilion, Chardonnay, Rhine Risling, Traminer, Pinot blanc, Pinot gris,
