Color ruby red. Smell is strong, mild sweet, dark cherry, blackberry, black currant. Medium body. In the mouth fresh, very lively . Also very fruity, wood berries, cherry.Unnoticeable tannins. Short, strong sour-sweet finish, full of fruitiness and pleasant fruit acids. Very good pair with strong local food.
What else ? Very nice label (one of the most beautiful here).. Word : “svatovac” (small letters below wine names) means ” for the wedding party ” . This grape ripens early in August, and the first fermented wine was drunk already in October, which is here the traditional month for weddings and other folks fiestas. So it is wine provided to drink young, not for aging, and it is quite determined lightness , freshness and cheerful character of this wine.
