Color orange red.Mild smell, raspberries and some dry herbs. Body medium to full, in mouth slow, almost oily, unusual for rose wine. The taste is more herbal than fruity, although the red berries are felt. Long finish, also herbally-fruity. It wants to be cold.Also, need food.
What else? A new winery, from central Serbia, with a French technologist (Mr.Chirstophe Deffontaines) , which may explain the unusual taste. They say it’s a Champagne rose style, and it’s original. In any case, a novelty in our market. We also tried red wines from the same winery,they are very good, we hope to write in one of the next posts.
